Tylovet® 100

Product Information

Tylovet® 100 is used to treat bacterial infections in cattle and swine and has a high margin of safety. Tylovet® 100 is the only fully microgranulated tylosin phosphate on the market. The microgranulation process  creates a quality, consistent product that ensures excellent stability and flowability in today’s modern mixing machines. With a microgranulated product, the active ingredient is contained in every particle. Tylovet 100 is a Type A Medicated Article.

Indication

SWINE – For control of porcine proliferative enteropathies (PPE, ileitis) associated with Lawsonia intracellularis. For control of swine dysentery associated with Brachyspira hyodysenteriae.

CATTLE – For reduction of incidence of liver abscesses caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum and Arcanobacterium (Actinomyces) pyogenes.

Storage & Handling

Store at room temperature, 25oC (77oF).

Important Safety Information

Avoid inhalation, oral exposure, and direct contact with skin or eyes. May be irritating to unprotected skin and eyes. Operators mixing and handling Tylovet should use protective clothing, impervious gloves, and a NIOSH-approved dust mask. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Exposed skin should be washed with plenty of soap and water.Remove and wash contaminated clothing. If accidental eye contact occurs, immediately rinse with water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

For use in swine and beef cattle feeds only. Do not feed undiluted.

Must be thoroughly mixed in feeds before use.

Federal law restricts medicated feed containing this veterinary feed directive (VFD) drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. Veterinary Feed Directive (VFD) expiration date must not exceed ninety (90) days from the time of issuance. VFDs for tylosin shall not be refilled. For use in swine and beef cattle feeds only. Do not feed Undiluted. Organisms very in their degree of susceptibility to any chemotherapeutic. If no improvement is observed after recommended treatment, diagnosis and susceptibility should be reconfirmed.

Do not use in any finished feed (supplement, concentrate or complete feed) containing in excess of 2% bentonite.
